Elizabeth Eichholtz is an attorney at Hollingsworth & Zivitz, where she practices exclusively in the area of divorce and family law. Elizabeth represents clients with all types of family law issues including: divorce & legal separation; custody; parenting time (visitation); child support; paternity; adoptions (including contested adoptions); prenuptial and postnuptial agreements; post-decree modifications & enforcement (including contempt actions); guardianships, emancipation; domestic partnership agreements & disputes; spousal maintenance (alimony); relocations; protective orders; restraining orders; grandparent rights; education orders; military divorces; and family law appeals.
Elizabeth has dedicated her practice exclusively to assisting clients with their family law needs. Elizabeth strives to reach the best possible outcome for each client in the most efficient manner, whether that means resolving the issues through an alternative dispute resolution process or litigating the matter in Court. Elizabeth has developed a litigation skill set taken from her experience with informal settlement negotiation, mediation, as well as trial and appellate work. Elizabeth further developed her litigation skills to better serve her clients by attending the National Institute of Trial Advocacy program - an intensive week long program focusing on the art of trial skills.
Elizabeth is a graduate from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. While in law school, Elizabeth served on the Moot Court Board and was a Note Development Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review. In the spring of 2010, she had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Edward W. Najam of the Indiana Court of Appeals. Since her time in law school, Elizabeth has volunteered her time and legal skills representing clients of modest means and on a pro bono basis.
Elizabeth lives in her hometown of Indianapolis. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, cooking, fishing, beach volleyball and spending time with friends and family.
